FLAHOOLEY is an allegorical musical tale for audiences of all ages is set in fictional Capsulanti, USA, which is the site of B.G. Bigelow, Incorporated, the largest toy corporation in the world. Puppet designer Sylvester Cloud has created a remarkable doll called Flahooley. As Flahooley is about to be unveiled at the company's big Christmas release to the board of directors — the meeting is interrupted and chaos and delightful complications ensue. A Genie in a lamp, a delegation from Baghdad, a beautiful Arabian Princess and a pack of corporate stooges inhabit this zany and highly entertaining musical comedy with puppets, video, singing, dancing and an enchanting score by Sammy Fain and lyrics/book by the remarkable Yip Harburg and Fred Saidy.

FLAHOOLEY plays on a double bill with :
YIP AND GERSH – A theaterical concert of Yip Harburg and Ira Gershwin's wonderful music. YIP AND GERSH was conceived and staged by Deena Harburg, the author of the critically praised book about Ira and George Gershwin entitled, FASCINATING RHYTHM.

William Shawn of the New Yorker called FASCINATING RHYTHM, "Not only the best book ever written about artistic collaboration, but also the best book ever written about Ira and George...An astonishingly brilliant book."
